may still need saving.

A QUIET NIGHT
The woods grew silent as dusk settled in. You did what you could, and that’s enough. The shelter lights are waiting.

AFTER
THE RAIN
You found a few who couldn’t make it on their own. They’re safe for now, resting under a dry roof. Tomorrow, you’ll head out again.

Story about The GukGUk

THE GUKGUK is an interactive rescue experience where players help save dogs, each with their own story. Inspired by a love for dogs and a dream to build a shelter, the project was created from empathy and the belief that dogs are companions—not just animals, and never food.
The name “Gukguk” comes from how we say the sound of barking in Indonesia, similar to “woof woof.”
Developed entirely with Webflow and GSAP—without any game engines or Three.js—this has been a personal goal: to tell stories through simple web tools.
Built in just over two weeks for the Webflow × Contra Challenge, this MVP (v0.5) merges motion design, CMS logic, and light game mechanics into one cohesive experience.
This project is a reminder that with creativity and care, even modest tools can tell meaningful stories.
